Enoteca Sociale

Celebrated a friend's birthday last Thursday at Enoteca Sociale (@EnoSociale). The birthday girl and I started things off with a glass of prosecco each...


...and proceeded with a bottle of wine for the four of us (really felt like a Friday!)


We shared the appetizers...

Salumi board


Bresaola, figs, pine nuts & ricotta di bufala ($14)



Sour dough crostini with cauliflower, lardo, grated pistachio


Blood sausage & beets, creme fraiche, pickled tomato ($14)


And ordered our own mains...

 Trecce, tomato, spicy octopus & sausage ($21)


Fettuccine, chicken livers, sage & pecorino ($16)


Bucatini all'amatriciana & house made guanciale (prepared using dried pasta from Italy) ($15)


Gnocchi, tomato, 'nduja, stracciatella & basil ($16)


We even made room for dessert!

Sticky toffee pudding, cardamom syrup & vanilla bean ice cream ($9)


Excellent food coupled with attentive service at Enoteca Sociale that night...we couldn't have asked for more :)
